 5 of 5 (1)
Rare footage of the railroads of New England. The "Berkshires" and "Hudsons" of the Boston & Albany, R3 "Mountain-Types" and "Moguls" of the New Haven, "Pacifics" of the Boston & Maine", Two-foot gauge steamers at Edaville and excursions on the Monadnock, Steamtown & Northern are featured. Also seen are the B&M's "Flying Yankee" at Old Orchard Beach, Maine, New Haven diesels at Southbridge, Massachusetts, a New Haven "Bud Car" at Webster, Massachusetts and the famed British "Flying Scotsman" on its tour of the US. We also visit the 1939 New York World's Fair exhibit of locomotives.
