This is Conrail's high traffic Chicago Line, part of Big Blue's Dearborn Division, and Elkhart is a large classification and hump yard on the Contrail System. We'll see over 70 trains! It's a mix of train types from trailer-van to mail to steel and manifest.<br><br>Locations include Chicago, Conrail on the BRC, Whiting, Gary, Ogden Dunes, Burns Harbor, Otis, Pinola, LaPorte, South Bend and Elkhart. Besides Conrail power we'll see a variety of western road run through power and units and trains from CP, CSX, NS, SP, UP, Chicago Short Line and the South Shore. |
