Review of Southern Memories Diesels of the 1950s and 1960s DVD

Through the vintage film of railfans Marvin Clemons, Tom Rock and David Driscoll we get to see the Southern Railway in action in the 1950s. See trains of the Southern Railway in North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama and at Saluda Grade. At Saluda, we see 3 SD units "Triple the Hill". Across the system, passenger and freight action is captured on film. Most of the film is from the 1950s, with some scenes from the 1960s. Shot on silent and sound film, now with added, synced, sound, and professionally transferred to DVD. 16mm/8mm color film, silent with sound added. No narration.
