Review of Remember the Richmond Fredericksburg and Potomac Railroad DVD

Here we have day to day operations on the Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac Railroad. Railfan Scott Nelson captured the RF&P, shot just prior to and right at merger time, with much of the action at ACCA Yard and Doswell where the railroad crosses the C&O main. This is pre-CSX footage with all trains being led by Blue & Gray RF&P GP-40, GP-40-2 and GP-35 units. We'll see switchers, locals, and the Bear Island train with all RF&P Equipment.

The RF&P was chronically short on power, so even prior to the merger they borrowed CSX power, so you will see some older CSX power too.

Video includes no narration, but does include subtitles with locations and train numbers - and original RF&P sound, so you can hear the great sounding RF&P horns! Color and natural ambient sound. No narration.
