This show begins with CPR 4-6-2 #1293 in October of 2003 on the Sugarcreek Train. This was the tourist train that ran several times a day on the 5-mile section between Sugarcreek and Baltic, Ohio. The train did not run much longer after this visit.
Visit the Morgan Run shop near Coshocton, and see 6325 and 1293 prep for a trip. This was on May 30, 2003, and we chase the train deadheaded from Morgan Run to Dennison. The train was towed backwards since there is no place to turn in Dennison. F-units pull the train with the steam engines trailing.
May 31, 2003 doubleheader excursion from Dennison to Newark, Ohio. We had heard this might be the last run of steam on the railroad, but we learned later that was just a rumor. It was a rainy day, but a few interesting shots were made at many locations, including at Coshocton, and Trinway. This was chased only one direction since the return was diesel.
