This show is comprised of footage Greg's father Warren W. Scholl shot between 1954 and 1958, the last years of B&O Steam operations. Living near Cincinnati the coverage generally radiates from that area.
The first segment is west toward Indiana with scenes along the Ohio River through Storrs yard, Anderson Ferry, Milan Hill, and in North Vernon where we see a couple of 2-8-2 freight operations. We also see several shots of the Louisville to Cincinnati Passenger trains with Pacific's for power racing along, mostly toward Cincinnati.
The second part of the video is along the line from Cincinnati to Pittsburgh. There are a lot of trackside views in places like Winton Place, Oakley, Madeira, Loveland, Blanchester, Columbus, Newark, Wheeling, Pittsburgh and more.
