Review of Flying the Norfolk Southern Over the Allegheny Mountains DVD

 3.5 of 5 (2)
Best seat in the house, above the action! Never see a telephone pole in your way again. This all drone show couples action from the air with sounds from the ground, so it's the best of both worlds. There's no narration, but on-screen graphics provide train symbols, information and locations on the line. The sound is turn-it-up good.

We'll see Horseshoe Curve, Gallitzin, Tyrone, South Fork and more. And the backdrop to all of this action is the most beautiful fall color. At Horseshoe Curve, the view from the air mimics the old postcards of the curve. Up in the air, or in the air, but level with the trains, or across a valley - you really get to place the trains in the scenery and see the geography that dictated the route.

1 hour 48 minutes. Color, Chapter Markers, No Narration, On-Screen Graphics.
Presented in Standard Definition, Widescreen. Available in High Definition Blu-ray.
