In volume 4 of the Erie Lackawanna, we continue operations in the 1970s and tour the EL system from Hoboken to Hornell both trackside and in-cab rides.
We begin with the end of long-distance passenger trains in the late 1960's and transition into the daily operations of freight and commuter service in the 1970's, including joint operations with the Central Railroad of New Jersey and brief scenes of the Rahway Valley railroad interchange at Summit, New Jersey.
We close this volume with a cab ride on NY-99 from Binghamton to Hornell and return on train TC-4.
