From the far northern regions of Illinois to East Chicago Indiana and everywhere in between, the reaches of CN's massive steel network are immense. Comprised of former Wisconsin Central, Elgin, Joliet and Eastern, Illinois Central and Grand Trunk Western trackage, this multi-part series will feature all the various lines Canadian National uses to move tonnage from several corners of the system into Chicagoland. In Volume One, we will focus on the former Wisconsin Central Waukesha Subdivision from the Wisconsin/Illinois Stateline to the connection with the former Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Leithton Sub at Trafton.|
