Review of Metropolitan Sub Weverton MD to Washington DC DVD

"Metropolitan Sub: " is our 9th video following the Old B&O Railroad and it surveys another historic track roadbed by following first the Potomac River before turning inland and climbing up Barnesville Hill. We finally visit the Metropolitan Subdivision of CSX that began life as the B&O's Metropolitan Branch in the 1870's. We discovered many of the hidden gems of this stretch of railroad when we followed the tracks from Weverton, Maryland all the way into Washington, D.C. Camouflaged and away from view lie four great stone arch bridges, a couple of serious grades, and some curious dips. We found several 1890's train stations. The wooden stations at Brunswick, Dickerson, Germantown and Kensington are contrasted by classic Victorian brick stations at Point of Rocks, Gaithersburg, and Rockville; all designed by E.F. Baldwin. In 1945, the B&O replaced the gothic Baldwin Station in Silver Spring with a brick colonial revival station that still stands today. <

In your opinion, how was the narration level?	There was no narration. Just enough. Could have used more. A little too much. Way too much. Narration can be turned off.
Aside from the content of the DVD, how would you rate the image quality (sharpness, camera steadiness, etc)?	Poor. A little rough around the edges. Good. Excellent!
How would you rate the VALUE of this video?	Overpriced for the amount of enjoyment I got out of it. Seemed a little high, but not too bad. Fair. Good value. Excellent value!
Last question. Would you recommend this DVD to others?	Definitely not! Not unless they REALLY were interested in the subject matter. Yes Definitely. A "Must Have"!
