The BNSF Transcon line runs from Chicago to Los Angeles, and goes through many scenic areas along the way. One such place is the portion of the line in Oklahoma.<br>In this program, we follow the Transcon from the state lines of Kansas and Texas through western Oklahoma over the steep Curtis Hill grade.<br><br>This is heavy duty mainline railroading, and by the time trains reach the top of Curtis Hill, they are often down to a crawl.
