CSX had been in charge for a few years, but the "Cat" still lives strong in 1988. Many trains feature pure "Chessie" power and some interesting stuff was also seen during this trip. Sandpatch is one of the great railfanning locations in the east, along with Horseshoe Curve and Helmstetter's Curve. This is amateur footage mastered to an enjoyable DVD!
