An incredible journey back in time when MLW's ruled Canadian Pacific's Quebec Division!
In the late 1980's on Canadian Pacific's Quebec Division, the machines of Montreal Locomotive Works reigned supreme. The Canadian Pacific operated pure sets of MLW's on its main line and several branch lines, along with its subsidiary, the Quebec Central. Volume One focuses on CP's Mainline, and the rewards of chasing several trains, along with a look at the Newport (VT) Subdivision, the Quebec Central's Vallee Subdivision. The program wraps up with an exciting ride on M636 4739!
Volume Two starts with action at Smiths Falls, Ontario, including an outstanding pacing sequence. Then we head to Quebec, where the C.P.R. operated pure sets of MLW's on its main line and branch lines. We also take a side trip to see CN and VIA action in the Drummondville, Quebec area.
