Review of Feeding Conrail - Exploring Northeast Shortlines and Regionals DVD

Shortline and regional railroads throughout North America are a vital source of traffic for the larger railroads. Much of the traffic found on Conrail lines in the Northeast fit this pattern. From the late 1980s to the mid 1990s, Tim Wakeman and Jerry Albertie explored a handful of smaller feeder railroads in the region. Documenting these lines did not mean sitting around at one location and watching the trains go past. This is serious train-chasing railfanning! Tim and Jerry's eye for "Working on the Railroad" is displayed in many great scenes!
