Review of Along the Jersey Central Volume 5 DVD

In volume 5 of Along the Jersey Central, we'll look at steam and diesel operations from Jersey City to Scranton, from the late 1940's to the 1960's including operations of the High Bridge Branch.

We begin riding AY-2 to High Bridge and jump aboard a passenger train to Jersey City for a farewell to steam excusion. We then ride AY-2 on the High Bridge Branch under steam in 1947 and with diesel power in summer of 1961 and fall of 1962. Following our tour of the High Bridge Branch, we head to the Lehigh Valley area and progress west to Wilkes-Barre and Scranton. We close volume 5 riding a steam powered passenger train from Wilkes-Barre to Allentown
