In the Anthracite Railroads in the 70s series, we look at the ailing operations of the Hard Coal Carriers in the final years before their inclusion into Conrail.

In Volume 5, we'll view the last years of freight and commuter operations of the Central Railroad of New Jersey from Communipaw to Alpha New Jersey, including service on the Lehigh Valley to Newark and the Chimney Rock and High Bridge branches.
