FOR NEARLY FIVE YEARS, master modeler Tom Miller remained intensely focused on building the finest Fn3 model railroad possible. The result was a world class 45'x 90' layout featuring many of his favorite southwestern narrow gauge sites.
Literally from the ground up, Tom designed and built his 4,500 square foot clear span depot specifically with modeling in mind ... 20-foot high mountains, elaborate scenery, 24-hour lighting cycles, Train Master control systems, day and night sound effects, and some of the finest art work to be found in the hobby.
Tom's layout is now finished and has been acclaimed by hundreds of visitors and in dozens of articles and interviews as one of the outstanding examples of railroad modeling in the world ... but they all ask the same question ... "How did you do it?"
Now, you can see the answer yourself in this three-hour step by step review of Tom's five year effort to build this incredible model railroad ... while keeping his grasp on rea |
