Review of Wisconsin Central Vol 5 Northwest Lines DVD

Wisconsin Central Railroad action begins on the Mesabi Iron Range in Northeastern Minnesota and travels south over the DM&IR to reach the DWP yard at Pokegama. See the WC and other Twin Ports Railroads passing through the Hotspot at Saunders Junction, Wisconsin. Then the WC connects onto their Superior sub and travels southeast across Wisconsin going through such cities as Ladysmith, Owen and Junction City before reaching their large yard at Stevens Point. The exciting WC train action includes: freight, locals, pulpwood and all-rail taconite trains. Plus a few passenger trains with vintage steam and F-units. See great switching action at Stevens Point with classic EMD end cab switchers. Also see a few trains of the DM&IR, DWP, BN, SOO and C&NW. Rail footage 1989-2002 from the camera of Bradley A. Plets.
