Review of Northwest Shortline & Regional Railroads Volume 1 Montana Idaho Wyoming DVD

Featuring • Montana Rail Link • Eastern Idaho Railroad • Union Pacific 4014 Big Boy & UP 844 • Boise Valley Railroad See great Northwest Shortline & Regional Railroad action along with UP Big Boy steam across the scenic and mountainous states of Montana, Idaho and Wyoming. See the Montana Rail Link gas local and freights out of Missoula and Helena, MT with diesel power ranging from GP9 to SD70ACe's. The Eastern Idaho railroads north and south divisions are covered with yard switching, locals and road freights. The Boise Valley Railroad starts along the UP mainline at Nampa, ID as we follow the Boise turn job along its 25 mile route that also passes by the beautifully restored ex UP Boise Depot. Plus as an added bonus, we caught the Union Pacific 4014, a 4-8-8-4 Big Boy on its inaugural trip out of Cheyenne, WY. This train also ran as a double header with UP 844, a 4-8-4 Northern. In your opinion, how was the narration level?	There was no narration. Just enough. Could have used more. A little too much. Way too much. Narration can be turned off.
Aside from the content of the DVD, how would you rate the image quality (sharpness, camera steadiness, etc)?	Poor. A little rough around the edges. Good. Excellent!
How would you rate the VALUE of this video?	Overpriced for the amount of enjoyment I got out of it. Seemed a little high, but not too bad. Fair. Good value. Excellent value!
Last question. Would you recommend this DVD to others?	Definitely not! Not unless they REALLY were interested in the subject matter. Yes Definitely. A "Must Have"!
