Along the old Milwaukee Road CP along the Mississippi River from St. Paul to La Crescent See exciting Canadian Pacific Railway train action along the former rails of the Milwaukee Road. Volume One covers the CP from Minnesota's capital city of St. Paul to River Jct. at La Crescent, MN. This segment runs between the bluffs and the beautiful Mississippi River where you'll also see some river barges and steamboats, including the Delta Queen. The CP train action includes: road freights, locals, switching and unit trains of coal, oil and intermodal. Plus Amtrak's Empire Builder and some steam powered passenger excursions with Milwaukee Road 261 and Canadian Pacific 2816. See a nice variety of CP diesel power along with colorful lashups with other Class 1 power including: BNSF, CSX, NS, KCS and UP. Also see these trains as they pass through the great river towns and by several old and historic Milwaukee Road depots. There's even a segment on a street running with a CP local in Winona. |
