The Iowa Traction Railroad operates a very rare electrified freight line that works industries in the Mason City area. The Crandic operates a terminal switching railroad in Cedar Rapids along with long freight trains going south to Iowa City. The Burlington Junction Railway uses an Alco C415 and operates an inter-city switching railroad in Burlington, Iowa that connects with the BNSF. This fascinating program ends with exciting tourist train action on the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad as they use vintage passenger cars that are powered by diesel, electric and steam locomotives.
