Review of Trains on the Montana Rail Link DVD

A system-wide look at Montana Rail Link Railroad action. See exciting MRL trains as they travel across the big sky country of Montana. This ex Northern Pacific line features some of the steepest and rugged terrain over the beautiful Rocky Mountains. This exciting program includes trains traveling along the Yellowstone and Clark Fork Rivers. The steep grade helper districts of Bozeman and Mullan passes, with up to two helper sets per train. Trains blasting out of 3 different tunnels and plenty of ex NP depots from Billings to Paradise. MRL train action includes: yard switching, locals, mainline road freights and BNSF run through trains. MRL diesel models include SW12, SW15, GP9, GP19-1, GP35, SD9, SD19-1, SD35, SD40, SD45, SD45-2, & F45's.

This program was shot in June of 2005 from the camera of Bradley A. Plets.
