Lake Superior & Ishpeming Railroad with exciting LS&I iron ore and freight train action across the world famous Marquette Iron Range. See LS&I mine trains as they travel the rail line from the Eagle Mills Yard to the Tilden mine and iron ore pellet plant. This rustic rail line includes scenic rock cuts, steep grades, ore pits a short mine tunnel, and beautiful fall colors. The action includes both LS&I ore trains and freights featuring an interesting combination of trackside runbys and cab rides. You also get a tour of the Tilden mine and processing plant. The LS&I powers their trains with a fascinating roster of GE locomotives including models U30C & C30-7's. Plus a brief look at the connecting railroads of the Wisconsin Central and the Chicago & Northwestern.
