In this 1999 video, the program starts with a look at the Santa Fe depot and yard in Belen New Mexico. Belen is located at milepost 896.9. Not only is the Santa Fe in the yard, but a Burlington northern cascade green unit is shown in the background. A 3 unit power move makes a crew change. It's led by red and silver warbonet unit 614 which is a reference to the Chesapeake and Ohio greenbrier. Behind it is engine 558 and blue and yellow unit 8729. During the title card, a BNSF doublestack is shown at Becker in milepost 881.6. Here it's led by a Dash 9-44 CW. There are 2 engines on the rear. One being a warbonet, the other being a G1 unit. G1 is for great northern colors, and G2 is for the Santa Fe warbonet. At Sais near milepost 875.9, another doublestack negotiates a bend, as it's being led by 6 red and silver warbonets. At the same location, a quartet of warbonets are on a piggyback train. At bridge 1, a BNSF piggyback crosses the trench. The bridge is measured at 503 feet. On the east end of the bridge, a G2 unit leads a 3 unit mixed train. The middle unit is from Burlington northern. A 10 unit lash up with 3 pumpkins and 7 warbonets are on a piggyback. At bridge 2, a doublestack with 2 warbonets and a pumpkin cross the 402 foot long location. On its way to bridge 3, a doublestack is led by a warbonet, a G2, and BN 8116. A 4 unit trailer train crosses bridge 3 with 2 warbonets and 2 pumpkins. An SD75I is on the point of this auto train. Following behind is a 5 unit mixed train with a blue and yellow, 2 pumpkins, a warbonet, and a gray diesel are leading. On the rear is a maintenance of way machine. A quartet of Burlington northern units and a blue and yellow unit crosses over bridge 4 at Abo canyon. At the east end of bridge 4, listen carefully to the horn of Burlington northern 8086. Note the Canadian national unit on this mixed train. At the same , in the previous scene, a 4 unit container train is shown with 2 pumpkins and 2 blue and yellow units. Following behind is another 4 unit trailer train. This time it contains 2 pumpkins and 2 warbonets. Bridge 5 is in the background as it negotiates an S curve. On the east side of bridge 5, another pair of pumpkins as well as another pair of warbonets cross over the bridge. Next up is warbonet 861 leading a 4 unit doublestack. Here it crosses the West side of bridge 5. Following behind is a 4 unit doublestack with one from BN, one from HLCX, and 2 from the AT&SF. Bridges 6 and 7 are separated by the hill to the right as a 5 unit doublestack with 4 BN units and pumpkin unit 4350. Another 4 unit doublestack crosses bridge 6. It's led by 3 pumpkins and a blue and yellow unit. Following behind is a piggyback with 1 pumpkin, 2 warbonets and a gray dash 8. Moments later, a pumpkin and 2 warbonets are on a doublestack. 2 more pumpkins are on the rear as it crosses bridge 7. At milepost 871.4, 3 pumpkins and a warbonet are on a doublestack as it crosses over the last bridge at Abo canyon. A Burlington northern unit and a pumpkin are on the rear. Next another 10 unit doublestack climbs up the hill at Scholle in milepost 870.3. A pair of pumpkins cross over the bridge as it carries automobiles. At abo near milepost 862.4, a pair of pumpkins and a warbonet are on a mixed freight. Mountainair is located at milepost 854.6. Here The station still stands, as a meet is happening at the same time. Note the Burlington northern SD40-2 as it pokes through the doublestack. Moments later, 7 pumpkins, a warbonet and a BN unit are on a doublestack. A westbound doublestack is led by A pumpkin with 3 blue and yellow units, one from BN, and a gray dash 8. At the cut, a doublestack is led by A warbonet with 3 pumpkins. Note the flatbed of wheels with axles. At the same time, a meet with a mixed freight is shown led by a warbonet, a gray dash 8, and 2 blue and yellow units. Back at Scholle in milepost 870.3, a pair of warbonets lead this mixed train with a blue and yellow unit and a Burlington northern cascade green unit. Back a bridge 7, a pair of pumpkins and a pair of warbonets are on a piggyback. Following behind is a 4 unit doublestack led by one BN unit on each end with 2 blue and yellow units in the middle. Norfolk southern power is shown with a pumpkin and a warbonet on another piggyback. BN 7897 leads a 4 unit doublestack with 3 blue and yellow units. A pumpkin, 2 warbonets and a BN unit are on a doublestack with a piggyback. Next, 3 pumpkins with a BN SD40-2 are on a doublestack. At the deep cut, a warbonet with 2 pumpkins are on a doublestack. At bridge 6, a splash of pre merger and post merger units are on a mixed train. Following behind is a warbonet with 3 pumpkins are on a doublestack. More merger colors are shown on a mixed train. Following behind is a pair of pumpkins and a pair of warbonets on a piggyback. At bridge 5 listen to the horn on warbonet 724. Note the BN 9274 in the consist of this doublestack. Following behind are a trio of pumpkins on a piggyback. Next up is a doublestack with 3 warbonets and a pumpkin. Moments later, a 5 unit doublestack with 2 pumpkins, 2 warbonets and a BN unit negotiates an S curve at bridges 5 and 4. A pair of pumpkins, a warbonet, a blue and yellow unit and a BN SD40-2 are on a mixed freight. Back at bridge 3, a pumpkin and a trio of warbonets are on an auto carrier train. Listen to the horn on warbonet 8278 as it leads a pumpkin and a pair of BN SD40-2 units on a hopper train. Note the concrete ties. Following behind is a pair of warbonets with a pumpkin on a doublestack as it heads for bridge 2. Back at bridge 2, a different pair of warbonets with another pumpkin are on a doublestack. Next up is quartet of units on this tank train with hoppers. A mixed train is led by a pumpkin, a warbonet, and a blue and yellow unit. Note the caterpillar construction machines on flatbeds, as well as a pumpkin and a warbonet on the rear. Back at bridge 1 a pair of pumpkins with a warbonet B unit are on a doublestack. 2 warbonets and a trio of Burlington northern power are on a mixed train. Next a quartet of pumpkins with a warbonet are on a hopper train. Moments later, a pair of warbonets with a blue and yellow unit are on an auto train. A blue and yellow unit with a pumpkin pushes the rear of the train. The action ends at Sais in milepost 875.9,, This piggyback is led by a quartet of pumpkins. In the closing credits, a meet is shown with a fast westbound, and a slow eastbound. Note the Norfolk southern power on this 10 or 11 unit lash up. |
