Opening with a parade of commuter and long-distance trains filmed in Manhattan and The Bronx, the program next offers rare coverage of a 1953 excursion featuring the New Haven's oldest electric Multiple-Unit cars. This trip originated in Grand Central Terminal and toured the New Canaan and Danbury Branches. Next, you'll tour the New Haven area, complete with an exciting visit to the Cedar Hill engine terminal, where a variety of diesel and electric locomotives were viewed. Our tour concludes with action scenes filmed at the Poughkeepsie Bridge and Maybrook Yard. |
