Cab Ride from Kansas City to Chicago, Part # 4 continues with the same as the previous 3 parts. Looking straight ahead, dull brown scenery, it gradually changes and eventually some snow is seen in the odd banked location. There is a few more towns, and at Galesburg there is even a crew change, so from there on we are able to listen to a different pair of operators. The landscape itself changes little, fairly flat and open. By the end of this video, we have seen 6 hours of basically the same thing. The only actual changes have been a bit of scenery and slight differences in the towns. Otherwise, it's all the same. One good thing so far is that each part is on a different disc. So one can be watched now, and another at a different time or day. I have found that the most exciting things on these videos is the long bridge crossings and the meets with other trains. For a cab ride fan, it's a great series, but other wise rather boring after a while.
Additional comments:
Narration: Could have used more.
Would kids enjoy this? I doubt it.
Image quality: A little rough around the edges.
Value: Fair.
Recommend? Only if really interested.
